Craft Your Signature Custom Perfume Scent

The workshop focuses on crafting a personalized perfume using fragrance bases made from 100% natural essential oils and absolutes. These carefully blended scents capture the essence of various places, emotions, and stories from Korea, offering a unique glimpse into the nation’s rich culture.

Under the expert guidance of a professional perfumer, you’ll learn the art of perfume creation from start to finish. Each step of the process is carefully explained, allowing you to craft a fragrance that is uniquely yours.

You’ll also have the opportunity to smell test and rank a large collection of perfume samples allowing you to create a perfume with your favourite top, middle, and base notes.

Balancing Your Custom Perfume Notes

Top, middle and base notes refer to how quickly an aroma dissipates. Including aromas from each of these categories in your blends and perfumes can take a one-dimensional aroma and make it more complex and thoughtfully crafted. 

The key to making a great-smelling blend is by balancing aroma notes. Generally, middle notes make up about 50-75% of the blend, top notes make up about 20-40% of the blend, and base notes make up about 5-10%.

AROMIND’s expert perfumers will help you explore different combinations until you find the perfect smell for you. Their 10ml sample perfume is a great tester to determine if any adjustments need to be made to your custom perfume blend before committing to your 50ml bottle.

You’ll then have the chance to mix the scented oil blend with alcohol having fun using droppers, funnels, measuring scales, and glasses like a real perfumist.
