Serving: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 large ripened bananas
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- pinch of salt
*Add an assortment of different garnishes or flavours. Flavour recommendations below.
How to Make Banana Ice Cream:
- Peel and chop up the ripe bananas into small pieces and place into a airtight container.
- Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours until the pieces are solid. Recommend even placing the banana pieces into the freezer overnight for best results.
- Once frozen, add the banana pieces into the food processor or blender. Pulse on high speed until the bananas are completely smooth. This can take 1-5 minutes depending on the power of the food processor or blender.
- Once blended quickly pulse in the vanilla extract and salt into the creamy banana mixture.
- Once combined, you can either eat it immediately or place the mixture back into an airtight container and place into the freezer until more solid.
- Feel free to add option toppings and enjoy!
