Hello everyone and welcome to my One Girl and the Big World blog!

I am currently an art student at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada. When I am not in school, I am busy travelling across Canada and other countries around the world. I also regularly post to my Instagram account to share my latest travel photography.

I have learned many tips and tricks while travelling and can’t wait to share them with you all. This blog will be a collection of photos, travel tips, travel guides, and anything else I might want to share along the way.

What Travel Plans Next?

Next summer, I have an exciting adventure planned: a 3-month backpacking trip across Europe, spanning May to July. My journey will take me to some of the most iconic and beautiful cities on the continent. I’ll start in London, where I plan to explore its historic landmarks, vibrant neighbourhoods, and world-class museums. From there, I’ll head to Dublin, soaking in its charming streets, rich literary history, and lively pub culture.

Next, I’ll make my way to Paris, the City of Light, where I’m eager to stroll along the Seine, admire the breathtaking art at the Louvre, and indulge in delicious French pastries. Rome is another highlight of my trip—its ancient ruins, stunning architecture, and authentic Italian cuisine are all on my must-see-and-taste list.

But these are just the beginning! My itinerary includes many more captivating cities and hidden gems across Europe. I’m looking forward to immersing myself in diverse cultures, marvelling at the incredible art, and savouring the unique cuisines that make each destination special. This trip is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to embark on this unforgettable adventure.
